Sorry everyone. It has been super busy around here. I thought my summer would be LONG and BORING. Never say that, or think that. I never will again!
Business: Well my business is going good. I have decided to change my prices for my newcomers, and slowly change them for my current students. I will wait for them until next year. I have 12-13 students, some VERY active, taking 2-5 lessons a week, others taking only about 2-3 a month. It will now be: $15 for 30 minutes, $20 for 45 minutes, $25 for 1 hour, $30 for 1 1/2 hours, and $40 for 2 hours. For children aged 7 and under I will do 30 minutes unless the child has a good attention span, then I will do 45 minutes but NO longer.
School: Well, I dropped Health 298, I fell behind and with the "specific" deadlines it was killing me. I am still taking the other 4, 1 is finished and I am finishing the other tomorrow. But 2 are barely started. whoops. Summer went too fast. I only have 3 weeks to finish them. Yikes!
Horses: I have decided to Lease out my big Thoroughbred Gelding Peyton, and also my little 12hh Lesson Pony Mischief. Prices are ridiculous for well trained horses and I want to know where these guys are so I figured Leasing them for $50 a month + care costs is a VERY fair amount. I brought home my mustang filly from the competition because no suitable home was found, so that added to my brood.
Mustangs: My mustang gelding, isn't mine anymore. He now resides with Kelly and Kevin from Santa Cruz, California and will be loved on, continuing respect training and learning how to be a Search and Rescue horse. I couldn't have asked for a better home for my lovely boy. I will be using Fallon to promote the Mustang breed. She will be taught all the "tricks" of the trade. Including but not limited to: Bowing, Laying Down, Comedian Tricks, and general riding for lessons, showing, trails, and just for fun pleasure rides. I will start a fresh new blog for her only. I'll post it when it's set up.
Fall 2008: My basement apartment is on 26th and Jackson Avenue, 1 block from Monroe street and about 2-3 blocks from the main Animal Science buildings. I am enrolled at OSU and have attended my START meetings, met my advisors and registered for classes. I am excited to attend Beaver Football and also Basketball in the winter. I never thought I would be a Football fan, but I actually enjoyed my time in front of the TV watching college ball with my family. I have already met some fun people and can't wait to meet more. I will be pledging Sigma Alpha, it is a Professional Sorority with no house. I will meet a lot of girls in that. I have found a wonderful boarding facility and will be taking Aspen. I had planned on taking Dess but I feel she need's to grow some more. I fear hurting her and could not live with myself if I did.
