I am sitting in the Boise Airport waiting for my flight to Denver and people watching. It's fun to watch the different personality types. You have morning people, and "not there" people. The morning people are humming (yes I do mean this) and whistling, smiling and overall cheerful. The "not there" people are scowling or have completely blank looks on their faces. Some are grumbling and wondering why the hell they chose an early flight, and yet still here. Luckily so far, most are morning people.
Considering I got to sleep around 12:30am Boise time, and was up at 3:30 Boise time, I am doing quite well. I actually had to call the front desk and CANCEL my wake-up-call because my damn internal clock wouldn't let me sleep the 30 minutes from 3:30 to 4. But at least the Fairfield Marriot had piping hot coffee for me in the lobby by 4:30am, though a little weak, it's still coffee. On the shuttle by 5am and then standing in line to check my bag by 5:15. Now I am sitting in a soft leather chair provided for those of us with items that need a plug-in, by Southwest. So far I'm pleased.
You also have those who are smoothly going about the chores associated with flying, and then those who are lugging around too much luggage, very confused on what to do and where to go and getting in the way of those of us that know the routine. You actually pity them, especially if they have more than 2 kids with them.
I fly into Denver, have a layover, then continue on the Dulles (Washington D.C.). From there a friend and I are shuttling over to Leesburg, Virginia to our cozy hotel. I am going to sleep well tonight ... I know it!
