Welcome to Adulthood :(

So I have 3 separate loans. 1 from the government for school, 1 from my mom, and one from my dad. Lets just say I am very broke right now!

Well Luckily I paid my school loan down to 13,600 (was 15,000 principle and 1,000 interest) so was able to pay a good chunk of that off. Lets just say like most American's I owe a lot of money but luckily not all of the interest rates are too bad (most are 0%).

This sucks. I refuse to buy any books, dvd's, entertainment etc... until I have them nearly or all paid off. I have netflix and can just rent them through there, and the library works great.

So much for the next half decade of my life. :( ESMT school please don't fail me now! (Which is going to put me another 3,000 in debt or so).

Poor Yahtzee! Being a grown-up is great...without the responsibilities. Unfortunately, they come hand-in-hand :(
I'm working on a way to update my blog and design it so there are tabs, and it would be possible for me to keep a running list of the novels I've read. Should any of my reviews interest you, let me know and I'll mail you the book if I've got it.
I hate to say it, but you can cut down on expenses by limiting coffee. Tragic, I know. Brewing it at home and taking it with you may help, and only going to Starbucks once or twice a week (BLASPHEMY!)may help.
IF you do decide to buy books, perhaps limit yourself to used books? I don't think that you hoard books like I do, but it'll save you money.
You'll get through this, Yahtzee. If I were there, we'd be plenty entertained (ha ha ha think: scary stories in an empty dorm right before you have to leave) :P

Don't remind me. Stupid open door that shouldn't have been open in a deserted dorm! haha

I may be interested in the series you've been raving about, with the author who passed away, but I'll let you know when I won't have to keep them for a while.

As for hoarding books. If I like them, I keep them and loan them to friends, but otherwise I sell them. I do tend to hoard textbooks, but I may remedy that for money now that I need money pretty badly.

I get decent money giving lessons but its the time of year that they are only weekends and it's flu's here and there or I am out of town for family things or holidays. I don't buy coffee without a starbucks card and I get the money for those through my rewards system at my bank (my debit/visa cards). I also get free coffee's every now and again because I am a starbucks reward gold member. Otherwise I brew at home ;) I already fixed my coffee addiction finances haha.

I may gander through the library tomorrow since I have to run to the bank.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series? It's good! So far I have the first one in novel form, and the second one as an audiobook. I'll be buying the third one as an audiobook too, but I'd be happy to loan those audiobooks to you.

Did you pick up anything from the library?

BTW I made a list on my blog of books I've read. I'll definitely recommend anything I gave a rating above a 7 to, but if you're looking for really good reads, go for the "10"s on my page.
